**Use the covered walkway/entrance to Hager Hall. Parking and this entrance are located at the rear of the church, on the northeast side.
** We are currently requesting that group home staff stay with your clients at Evening Care, even if you dropped them off pre-Covid. Thank you for your understanding.
MASK POLICY: Masks are no longer required by Asbury United Methodist Church. It is up to each individual or group to decide for themselves. As such, masks will no longer be required at Evening Care. You are always welcome to choose to wear one! Our policy remains that if anyone in your group/home has tested positive for Covid, that your entire group (or you, yourself, if you do not live in a group setting) stay home that week -- even if you have personally tested negative for Covid. We want to continue to do all that we can to keep each other safe and healthy!

***Safe Gatherings Training Required***
You keep all our Special Needs Ministries safe havens for fun, learning and fellowship by completing the Safe Gatherings class which is required for all volunteers who work with any vulnerable population at any United Methodist Church. Many of you have completed this training online. THANK YOU! The fee for this certification is covered by Asbury United Methodist Church. Once you received the email that you have been approved, please print that and give to Ginni.
You can get started by following this link: https://safegatherings.com/app/get-started
(You can also use this link to check your status if you aren’t sure when yours expires.)
We are required to turn in this information to the church office. If you have not yet taken the online Safe Gatherings class, please do so ASAP. Your fee is immediately reimbursed as soon as you turn in your receipt to Ginni. Thank you for helping us comply with these measures meant to keep our guests safe. (You will receive email notification when it is time to renew. If you haven't received anything, then you are still current with your certification.)

We always welcome anyone interested in volunteering with Evening Care! We suggest coming to visit a few times to decide if this is a good fit for you. You will be paired with another volunteer so you can see how the night typically runs. If you do feel it is a fit, you can take the Safe Gatherings Training at that point. Please contact us at eveningcaresnm@gmail.com for more information or to let us know you are interested. Thank you!
